ImmersiVision
From 2006-2008 I worked as the production manager for ImmersiVision Interactive Technologies.
ImmersiVision was a Whistler based company, founded in early 2004, whose primarily revenue source was the production of immersive virtual reality. The product is similar to Google Streetview but combines virtual tours with video linkages, interactive Flash maps, real-time travel booking information (hotel room rates & availability), advertising video, and podcasts.
Awards:
- ∞ Top 10 New Business Ventures of 2007 in British Columbia. Awarded by New Ventures BC
- ∞ Most Innovative VR Player of 2007. Awarded by IVRPA (International Virtual Reality Photographers Association)
In 2008, ImmersiVision licensed its technology to VTour Interactive and shortly after ceased active production.
